On The Clock!

The weather South has mocked us for fourteen days, and finally, this morning, the first flight went out.  We cannot call the mission complete till the plane has landed.  C-17's have enough range to actually fly there, circle, and fly back if blowing snow, or clouds, or ice fog prevent them from landing; they call those "boomerang" flights.  We have to wait for word that they have touched down before the second mission is on the clock.  And as it stands, right now, we are on the countdown to begin processing to fly tomorrow morning at 8:00.

God willing, it will be onward to the Final South!
